How to Get the Most from Your Session
Before your Polarity Session, it is a good idea to know what you are wanting from the session, and to have a sense of both physical or health issues, and emotional or lifestyle issues. You can review the Five Element Assessment to get a better idea of areas that might be covered or handled in the session.
During your Polarity Session your main job is to relax, but as well, it may benefit you more to stay aware, and focus on your breath, and use the breath and awareness to engage with sensations that arise. It will also help, if you feel comfortable, to communicate what you are sensing to help identify root causes of distress.
After the session,drink plenty of water and eat a lighter diet if that is possible. There may be some dietary suggestions to help you get the most out of your treatment. Polarity Yoga exercises may be recommended. As well, because the session may help surface old and unhelpful belief structures, it may be helpful to affirm new beliefs to support long term healing.
